About Joellen
I was raised in Ohio and, later, in California by parents who encouraged me to develop my own sense of style and individualism. They also taught me to be kind, always.
As life rarely follows a straight line, my career started off in the dental field. Later, I expanded into a career full of creative, detail related work including cooking and floral design. Wanting to reach others with my style and expertise, I started Joellen Pope Weddings & Events over a decade ago.
Having lived and worked in the Napa Valley for 25 years, I've developed relationships and intimate knowledge of the very best the Valley has to offer. Those unique spots off the beaten track, the best places to taste wine, and how to create a charcuterie board from that road stop market.

I'm able to use my knowledge and industry relationships to help you build the wedding day of your absolute dreams.
My Approach
Each wedding and event is personal, and unique. Every couple has a different story to tell; and hopes to share that story with family and friends on their wedding day.

I am most inspired when I join you in the planning process from the beginning, allowing us to cultivate a truly personalized experience. I am able to use my experience, knowledge, and industry relationships to help create your vision. Chances are, along the way, we will create a friendship too, and share more than a few glasses of wine.
Know that on your wedding day, I will be with you at every step: getting into your gown, pinning your groom's boutonniere, making sure each guest is greeted, and the ceremony start (on time!), down to the last dance of the evening. I look forward to crafting your perfect day together soon. Cheers!
